Making my way…

So getting pictures on here will be interesting…standby!

 Also, I am going to have the site password protected within the next couple of weeks, but don’t worry, you will all be in the know! 

 Things continue to go well here, I have heard from my parents and really missed being home at Easter.  But I colored eggs here with my 9 year old host sister and visited a monastery and underground caves where monks lived about a bazillion years ago.  Man there is a lot of history here!  My host mom keeps me supplied with pamphlets and books on the history of the town.

Hmm…so the weather is getting warmer, but it snowed on Sunday, much like how my parents said it was at home!  I will be sure to update this more, please don’t give up on checking it!  I just want to be sure I do everything correctly are far as posting policy…and I will keep emailing, so watch for those!

So my group is amazing. We have the whole spectrum of ages and backgrounds, from Texas to California to Virginia! It’s great, and we have done a lot of laughing, sharing anxiety, and just plain being excited to go. We get on a bus tomorrow morning, get to JFK and take a flight in the early evening to arrive in Kyiv by the afternoon the next day. I am, as I am sure most of us are, ready to get out of here and begin our adventure!
